Guy d’Andigne, the person behind the blog SFSS, recently put together an ebook made up of a handful of classic SF tales. It’s a wonderful little labour of love, containing short stories by (among others) H.P. Lovecraft, Ray Bradbury, Jack Vance, and even Voltaire (yes, that Voltaire).
Not only is this collection, in d’Andigne words, a perfect intro for a new fan, or fun for established readers, it’s also an interesting historical document that charts some of the development of SF as a literary genre over the decades.
If you’re a fan of SF, or just a fan of well-crafted short fiction, grab a copy of the book from Guy d’Andigne’s Ko-fi shop.
